BLS for Healthcare Providers
This is a 4.5 hour program designed to teach healthcare providers the skills of CPR for victims of all ages (including ventilation with a barrier device, a bag-mask device, and oxygen); use of an automated external defibrillator (AED); and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (FBAO). This program is for healthcare professionals seeking an alternative (non-classroom) method for completing an initial or renewal BLS for Healthcare Providers Course. Part 1 is self-paced and available 24/7 and includes 5 interactive scenarios and a written test.

BLS for Healthcare Providers Renewal
This 4 hour American Heart Association Course includes a video lecture and hands on skills. It covers core material such as adult and pediatric CPR (including two-rescuer scenarios and use of the bag mask), foreign body airway obstruction, and AED use. Throughout the course students will be observed practicing CPR with AED skills and at the end of the course students will be given a skills test along with a written exam.

Heartsaver CPR with AED
This course teaches the basic techniques of adult CPR and use of an AED. Students also learn about using barrier devices for ventilation purposes and relief of foreign-body airway obstructions (choking). The program also provides information about how to recognize the signs of 4 major health emergencies: heart attack, stroke, cardiac arrest, and foreign-body airway obstruction. The recommended audience for this class includes first responders to health emergencies including police officers, firefighters, airline personnel, security guards, employees in the workplace, and those family members of patients at high risk for sudden cardiac death, other lay rescuers, and other interested individuals.

Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid
This course is designed to meet the regulatory and credentialed training requirements for child care workers in all 50 states.  The course teaches basic first aid, CPR, and AED skills for children. The course provides training primarily for those who are responsible for children, and for anyone who wants to learn basic pediatric first aid and obtain a Heartsaver course completion card. Course core content includes first aid basics, medical emergencies, injury emergencies and environmental emergencies. Optional pediatric first aid modules are: additional fire aid topics, CPR and AED use and asthma care training for child care providers.

Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogens
The Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogens Course teaches you how to how to protect yourself from bloodborne pathogens, what to do when exposed to blood-containing materials, how to properly clean when exposed to blood, and how to report any exposure to blood or blood-containing materials in the workplace. The course meets OSHA Standard 1910.1030.

 CPR for Friends & Family
This course is a modular course that teaches rescuers skills in CPR and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction. It presents information about the AHA adult Chain of Survival and signs of heart attack, cardiac arrest, stroke and choking in adults. The course also presents information on the infant and child Chain of Survival, signs of choking in infants and children, prevention of SIDS, and prevention of the most common fatal injuries in children and infants.
