Basic Life Support
Since 2008, Pike County Advanced Life Support been the primary Basic Life Support (BLS) service for Shohola Township, Pike County.
This is in addition to Advanced Life Support services provided. This change in BLS providers has improved 911 response times to emergency incidents in Shohola Township.
Mutual Aid
Pike County ALS responds as requested to areas adjacent to its primary response area. In 2010, Pike County ALS responded to emergency incidents in 33 different municipalities in 3 different states.
