Advanced Life Support
In Pennsylvania only Paramedics and Pre-Hospital Registered Nurses can provide ALS care. Our ALS units have highly specialized equipment including cardiac monitoring devices, manual defibrillators, transdermal cardiac pacers, intravenous equipment, and approximately dozens of medications.
Basic Life Support
Our Basic Life Support Service is provided by Pennsylvania certified Emergency Medical Technicians. Our EMTs are able to administer oxygen, apply splints, provide CPR, control bleeding and bandage wounds, as well as transport patients to the hospital.
Inter-facilityTransports
Pike County Advanced Life Support is able to provide ambulance services for patients that need to be transported from hospital to hospital or from the hospital to their residence. We are able to provide these services as long as one of the trip points is located in Pennsylvania.
Special Event Stand-bys
Pike County Advanced Life Support offers both its Basic and Advanced Life Support services to “stand-by” at public events including fairs, carnivals, parades, sporting events, and other community activities.
