Tafton Fire Company & Pike County ALS to hold EMS Week Open House

On Sunday, May 19th, Tafton Fire Company and Pike County Advanced Life Support (ALS) will celebrate the start of Emergency Medical Services Week by holding an Open House Celebration from 10 am until 5 pm.  The event will take place at the Tafton Fire Company on Route 507 in Palmyra Township. Activities include, tours of the ambulances and paramedic vehicles, CPR training, public information, and giveaways for children. Free food and beverage will be also be available.   Tafton Fire Company Ambulance and Pike County ALS provide emergency ambulance service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to the residents and visitors of the greater Lake Wallenpaupack area.

Pike Paramedics Announce Lottery Calendar Fundraiser

Milford – Pike County Advanced Life Support (PCALS) Lottery Calendars are the perfect holiday gift. Friends, Family, and Colleagues will love a chance to win money every day throughout the coming year. Over $15,000 dollars in prizes will be distributed throughout 2012.

How it works…Your calendar is assigned a three digit “Lucky Number”. Any day of the year your Lucky Number matches the  Pennsylvania Lottery’s Evening Daily Number Drawing, you will win the dollar amount listed on your PCALS’s Lottery Calendar for that day. You can follow the Pennsylvania Lottery Drawing each day at 6:59pm, but winners are tracked by PCALS. You don’t have to contact us to claim your prize; winners will automatically be mailed a check. Checks will be mailed weekly. You may request your lucky numbers, but if they are not available, a lucky number will be assigned to you.

If you would like to purchase a Lottery Calendar, mail a check made payable to Pike County ALS Attn: Lottery Calendar Fundraiser in the amount of $30.00 per calendar to P.O. Box 384 Dingmans Ferry, PA 18328 or call us at 1-855 PIKE-ALS (745-3257).

All proceeds from this program will be used to purchase emergency medical equipment. Pike County Advanced Life Support is a non-profit organization that provides emergency medical services 24/7 to the residents and visitors of Pike and Wayne Counties.

Delaware Township Ambulance to Hold Annual Wreath Sale

Dingmans Ferry, PA – It’s that time of year again. Delaware Township Volunteer Ambulance Corp will hold its Annual Wreath Sale and Open House on Friday, November 30th from 3pm-8pm, Saturday, December 1st from 10am-4pm and Sunday, December 2nd from 10am -4pm. The event will be held at the Ambulance Building on Park Road in Delaware Township.

Beautifully decorated wreaths are only $15.00. Patrons will receive free cookies and hot cocoa and the kids can visit with Santa Claus on Saturday.   Pike County Advanced Life Support Lottery Calendars will also be available. 3rd Annual Tricky Tray Fundraiser Announced

Milford, PA — On Saturday, June 23th, Pike County Advanced Life Support will hold a Tricky Tray Fundraiser at the Delaware Valley High School, 252 Route 6 & 209, Milford, PA. Doors open at 2:00 pm and the calling will begin promptly at 4:00 pm. Admission is $4.00 and includes a sheet of tickets. This event includes hundreds of prizes including a laptop computer, money tree, themed baskets, jewelry, as well as shopping, dining and recreational gift certificates. A 50/50 raffle will also be held and a concession stand will be available with food and drink. Pike County Advanced Life Support provides emergency paramedic and ambulance services to the residents and visitors of Pike and Wayne Counties. Pasta Dinner & Mini Tricky Tray Fundraiser Announced

On Saturday, May 19th Pike County Advanced Life Support will host an all-you-can-eat pasta dinner fundraiser. The dinner will run from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Delaware Township Municipal Building, 116 Wilson Hill Road in Dingmans Ferry. Three different types of pasta will be available and dinner will include salad, rolls, dessert, soda, tea and coffee. The cost is $7 for adults, $5 for children and those under five eat free. This will be a pay-at-the-door event. In addition to the dinner, this event will feature a mini-Tricky Tray, 50/50 raffle and live music. This event has been graciously sponsored by Dingman Delaware Insurance Agency. Pike County Advanced Life Support provides emergency paramedic services to residents of Pike County and the surrounding area. All proceeds from this event will be used to  purchase emergency medical equipment.

 

Pike County ALS Announces Penny Social Fundraiser

DINGMANS FERRY, PA — On Sunday, March 25th, Pike County Advanced Life Support will hold a Penny Social Fundraiser at St. Vincent de Paul Church on Route 739 in Dingmans Ferry. Doors open at 12:30 pm and the calling will begin promptly at 2:30 pm. Admission is $1.00 and includes a sheet of tickets. This event will include over 300 small prizes and 25 special trays. Tickets for the small prizes are only 50 cents for 25 tickets.  A 50/50 raffle will also be held and a concession stand will be available with food and drink. Pike County Advanced Life Support provides emergency paramedic and ambulance services to the residents and visitors of Pike County. Delaware Township Volunteer Ambulance Corp will hold a Holiday Wreath Sale at their ambulance building on Park Road in Dingmans Ferry, PA. Holiday wreaths, baked goods, coffee and hot chocolate will be available. Santa will be making an appearance.
