Primary use of epinephrine auto-injectors. Includes didactic and skill performance, as well as successful completion of a written and practical skill examination. This is the PA Department of Health module to allow EMTs, functioning with an approved BLS service with medical command, to administer an epinephrine auto-injector. Introduction to Fire Officership

The Intro to Fire Officership Course is a 16 hour course that will give the student a basic overview of fire officers responsibilities, personnel issues, fireground operations, and the development of a sound and effective administrative and fire ground organizational structure. This is an introductory class; the program does not prepare the student for Fire Officer Certification. Recommended Pre-requisite: Essentials of Firefighting or equivalent. This program provides valuable insight into fire department management from both the tactical and administrative officers’ viewpoints.
